By accessing or using UseUp (the “Service”), including joining our waitlist, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

UseUp is a food management application that helps users track pantry ingredients and receive AI-generated recipe suggestions based on what they have on hand, with the goal of reducing food waste. The Service is currently in pre-launch and accepting waitlist sign-ups.

3. Waitlist & Early Access

By submitting your email address to join the UseUp waitlist, you agree to receive communications from us regarding the launch of the Service, product updates, and related announcements. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the Service or any specific features.

• You may unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time using the link provided in each email.
• Early access is granted at our sole discretion and may be limited in availability.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the waitlist program at any time.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Engage in any automated data collection, scraping, or harvesting without our prior consent.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of UseUp and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of UseUp. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Recipe suggestions generated by our AI are provided for informational purposes only. Always use your judgment regarding food safety, dietary restrictions, allergies, and nutritional needs. UseUp is not responsible for any adverse outcomes resulting from following recipe suggestions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UseUp and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notifying you via email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
